Seven Gravel Race success

Crossroads celebrates success at Seven Gravel Race

Crossroads Bicycle Co. is delighted to announce the success of our shop sponsored rider Ben Jones at this year’s Seven Gravel Race, which took place in Nannup on 16 May.

As a result of finishing as one of the top riders in the 40-44 age category, Ben has qualified for the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships, taking place on Nannup’s undulating forest and farmland course in October.

Among the first to congratulate him were members of the Crossroads team, who as well as riding the gruelling 125 kilometres in under six hours, were present in association with Factor Bikes to help competitors with their pre-race preparations.

With gels, drink bottles, top-tube saddle bags, tubes and tubeless plug kits among the most popular purchases, the Crossroads tent was extremely busy serving competitors right up to the start. Last minute mechanical assistance, including all-important brake bleeds, were also welcomed by entrants, some of whom had a travelled from overseas to take on Western Australia’s famous trails.

With some 2,000 entrants at Seven, including the world’s best elite and masters riders, interest in gravel racing is skyrocketing across Australia. It’s a trend noticeable at Crossroads’ Carine-based store, where gravel bikes from Factor’s Aluto line-up, and models from other leading brands are proving popular.

Looking forward to Ben’s participation at the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships, Crossroads is excited to do it all again with gravel fans and customers in Nannup on 10-11 October 2026.
